What We Do
WWIC started as a humble four lawyer team in 2014, founded by Alexandre Devano Wijaya, Adimas Wahyudi Winata, Trinata Immanuel Tjahadja, and Nathaniel Bakrie, the most iconic law figures who honed their craft at Indonesia’s largest firms at such young age.
Despite of being considered and best known for their irregular almost unusual appearance for a lawyer, WWIC holds a preeminent reputation locally, as well as an enviable international clientele. Devano, as Managing Partner of WWIC, believes that everyone is equal in front of law thus any specified attire nor style was repellent to his idea. Lawyers on WWIC have a variety of style and they are demanded to express themselves freely. But it does not decrease their worth of being a highly reputable lawyers or even being less serious.

Alexandre Devano Wijaya
Alexandre Devano Wijaya is an Indonesian-Korean lawyer best known for his courtroom's presence and his prominence leadership role as a Managing Partner for WWIC Law Firm. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, government investigations, professional responsibility and white collar criminal matters.
A cum laude graduate of University of California, Los Angeles, Devano has acted as an Assistant Attorney in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of white collar and other criminal cases. As well as representing companies in drafting complex customer and supplier agreements with multinational corporations.
Devano's other passions are practicing art such as performing music, painting and writing. He is also advocating for public sector integrity and accountability. He is a well-known singer and rapper since his early life, and he uses his position as a public figure to act as a powerful voice in the Indonesian anti-corruption movement. He was also featured on the 2016's Forbes: 30 Under 30. He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, Korean and Chinese.

Trinata Immanuel Tjahadja
Trinata Immanuel Tjahadja is an Indonesian-Chinese lawyer. He combines pragmatism, charisma and dedication to deliver record verdicts in state and federal court insurance, IP and commercial cases.
A persuasive and successful trial lawyer, Trinata captures the respect of clients and jurors alike. Jurors praised his “mad skills” and called him simply, “the killer.” He represents product manufacturers and other policyholders in coverage and product defect litigation, and a broad spectrum of life sciences and other technology companies in a variety of competition-related disputes, including hard and soft IP, trade secret and unfair competition cases. He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Chinese.

Adimas Wahyudi Winata
Adimas Wahyudi Winata an Indonesian lawyer focuses his practice on the litigation and resolution of complex disputes for clients in a broad array of industries facing issues ranging from cybersecurity and computer fraud, to money laundering and asset forfeiture.
When Adimas takes on a case, his clients reap the benefit of his considerable knowledge, experience and intense personal investment, as well as his ready sense of humor. He is tenacious in investigating his clients’ cases and creative in his development of strategies carefully designed to protect their business interests.
He has defended clients in class actions and other complex civil litigation involving claims ranging from federal and state antitrust and RICO cases to matters of consumer fraud, product liability, and alleged civil rights. He is fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Nathaniel Bakrie
Nathaniel Bakrie is an Indonesian lawyer best known for being a direct heir of Bakrie Group, he is recognized throughout the region as an expert on Indonesian mining law. He also has a strong reputation in major projects and regularly advises Indonesian regulatory authorities in the electricity sector. Related practice areas include infrastructure, financing and M&A.
Nathaniel represents domestic and international mining clients through every stage of their operations, from financing, licensing and land acquisition, exploration and production, through to post-project rehabilitation. He advises mining clients on domestic processing and divestment obligations and represents clients in negotiations with the government to reform their Contracts of Work.
Nathaniel has built strong relationships with many senior government officials, which means he can give clients the very latest information on the constantly evolving regulatory regime. He is actively involved in the legal and forestry committees of the Indonesian Mining Association, and he is often invited to speak on regulatory issues at conferences and in industry publications. He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
